Globestock Safety launch 30m (98 ft) version of SAVER SRL-R
Globestock Safety has introduced a new 30 m (98 ft) version of the SAVER, replacing the previous 20 m and 34 m models. This latest release retains all the benefits of last year’s bestselling 14 m (46 ft) SAVER model.
Key improvements include updated certification, the option of a synthetic lifeline, and a simplified rescue function. The rescue mechanism now engages with a single action, making it quicker and more efficient to operate.
- Complies with or exceeds the rigorous standards of EN 360: 2023, EN 1496:2017 Class A, CSA Z259.2.2-2017 and ANSI/ASSP Z359.14-2021
- Now available with a synthetic lifeline, reducing weight, improving handling, and providing added safety in environments with electrocution risks.
- The winch arm has been upgraded with a simplified, faster engagement mechanism.
- A refreshed, modern label design uses clear, easy-to-understand pictograms, enhancing the user experience and equipment usability.
- The redesigned anchorage connection point accommodates off-the-shelf karabiners for easier hanging.
- The lifeline’s shock absorber spring has been replaced with a durable rubber stopper, which reduces recoil, offers better durability, and withstands corrosive environments.
- The old metal ID plate has been replaced with a corrosion-resistant label featuring a QR code for quick access to online User Instructions.
- Internal components have been extensively modified to enhance performance and meet the stricter EN 360: 2023 standard.
- User instructions have been completely overhauled to be clearer, easier to understand, and available in multiple languages.
- Several assembly and servicing improvements have been made to improve serviceability.
