The XTIRPA Vehicle Hitch fall arrest system utilises the force of gravity to provide a reliable anchor point for confined space entry and over-edge scenarios, making it an ideal solution for bridge maintenance.

The XTIRPA Vehicle Hitch operates similarly to the well-established XTIRPA Counterweight system, using a large counterweight to balance the forces at the opposite end. However, instead of traditional weights, it utilises a van or truck connected via the tow ball / hitch.  

For field operatives who already use a vehicle on site, the XTIRPA Vehicle Hitch fall arrest system makes use of existing resources, providing a more efficient, lighter, and quicker-to-deploy solution. This system is especially useful in over-edge situations, such as on bridges, or where conventional anchors are not feasible. 

Various extension sections are available, allowing for different angle configurations when deploying the davit arm.

XTIRPA 76 mm HITCH MOUNT WITH 610 mm STABILISER

Hitch mount with 610 mm stabiliser is part of a fall arrest system that connects to 51 mm square vehicle receiver hitches. Use with mast IN-2003 and davit arm IN-2210. Comes with adjustable screw pads for simple levelling of system.

XTIRPA 76 mm HITCH MOUNT WITH 1,524 mm STABILISER

Hitch mount with 1,524 mm (60˝) stabiliser connects to 51 mm (2˝) square vehicle receiver hitches. Use with mast IN-2003 and davit arm IN-2210. Recommended for use with a rescue stretcher. Comes with adjustable screw pads for levelling of the system.

This hitch mount extension attaches to hitch mount IN-2126 or IN-2204 and provides a 90° extension for the fall arrest system. Allows vehicle to be parallel with traffic and access confined spaces on the side of the road.
